As the current Dean of the Richmond AGO Chapter, I join with our Convention Coordinator Kenna Payne in extending you a hearty invitation to join us in Richmond, VA for a very exciting time!

Richmond is a charming, thriving city with many historic churches and other impressive buildings, superb museums, outstanding restaurants, abundant opportunities for outdoor activities, and several great universities. We are within easy driving distance of the Atlantic Ocean to the east, Washington DC to the north, and the Skyline Drive and Blue Ridge Mountains to the west. It is no surprise that in 2016, Richmond was listed by Travel + Leisure magazine as one of the top places in the U.S. to visit.

Our Convention Steering Committee, Program Committee, and other convention committees have been working extremely hard to arrange a smooth experience of many excellent concerts, diverse and useful workshops, and other exciting events. And many meals will be included in the registration price!  Please come and enjoy some good ol’ Richmond hospitality. Experience stimulating musical events and workshops. Spend time with old friends, and make new ones.

Recharge, refresh, and relax.

Cheryl Van Ornam, Dean
Richmond Chapter AGO
